For 5 - 11 year olds
Monday 23rd - Thursday 26th August 9.30am - 1.00pm
Parents are invited to join us at 12.30pm each day in the church.
Children will be dismissed from their groups at 1.00pm and MUST be collected by a parent / guardian.
Thursday 26th August 6.15pm - 8.00pm
Thursday evening is the last session and consists of a ‘Sausage Sizzle’ at 6.15pm followed by a presentation at 7.00pm.

Day One - In the ‘Gods’
Aim: To learn that God created an amazing and perfect world.
To understand that God has a design for the world, which is represented in His ‘big plan’.
Bible passage: Genesis 1:1 – 3:13, 3:22-24
Day Two - In the dressing room
Aim: To recognise that everyone is important to God.
To learn from the story of David and Goliath that when we trust in God, we can do amazing things for Him.
Bible passage: 1 Samuel 17:1-54
Day Three - Under the trapdoor
Aim: To learn from the story of Daniel in the lion’s den, that God hears us when we call out to him.
To encourage the children to keep on following God in all situations.
Bible passage: Daniel 6
Day Four am – In the wings
Aim: To show how the birth of Jesus was the next part of God’s plan for the world.
Because Jesus came to the earth and ‘lived among us’ as a human being (while at the same time being God),
he identifies with our humanity and knows all our cares.
Bible passage: Luke 1:26-38; 2:1-20
Day Four pm – On the stage
Aim: Jesus dies and comes back to life again, to complete God’s rescue plan.
Bible passage: Luke 22-24
